| Once your application has been
submitted to the insurance company and your brief insurance exam has
been completed, your doctor will be paid to complete a statement
on your behalf. This "Attending Physician's Statement"
(A.P.S) will be sent direct from the insurance company to your doctor
with a pre-payment for his services. You will be notified if
there are any delays in receiving the A.P.S back from your doctor.
You may also be contacted by phone, regarding a routine "Underwriting Inspection". This inspection generally takes less than 5 minutes and is also paid for by the insurance company. Assuming that there are no unusual delays, normal approval time takes 4 to 6 weeks (Do Not Cancel Any Of Your Current Coverage In The Meantime). Your new policy will be mailed to you within 5 to 10 business days after issue. Most states allow a 10 to 20 day "Right To Examine Your Policy". This means that, for any reason you choose not to accept your policy, you can return it to the company or "Professor Quotewise" for cancellation and a full refund of any monies tendered.
